The Young Publishers Association aims to foster connection, provide mentorship, and uplift the next generation of publishing professionals at all stages of their career.
YPA is looking for volunteers!
As a volunteer-run nonprofit, Young Publishers Association is always seeking dedicated and collaborative team members. We have four specialized volunteer teams:
Communications:
The communications team creates engaging content for social media and our newsletters, and also helps maintain the website
In-Person Events:
The in-person events team plans networking events in the New York City area; they are also looking to expand to plan events for young publishing professionals across the country
Remote Events:
The remote events team plans virtual events through Zoom, including networking opportunities and educational panels
Mentorship:
The mentorship team works to build connections between seasoned publishing industry professionals and those newer to the industry
